What are you doing this morning?? This is what we are going to do. Estacada's annual Easter parade starts at 10:30a at the Estacada High School. The parade heads down Main Street, turns on
4th Avenue and heads back on Broadway. Our
grandkids love this parade. Lots of
places to sit... bring chairs or sit on the curb. It is a big parade for a little town. Lots of great entries, candy being thrown,
cool fire trucks and horses. After the
parade at noon, the Estacada Rural Fire Department is holding an Easter Egg
Hunt at the football stadium. This is the
most organized, fun, free Easter Egg hunt.
Areas are designated by age, kids only with parents standing close by,
and thousands of eggs. All you have to bring
is your own basket, bag, or big pockets.
There is delicious barbecue set up and other activities for the
kids. This makes a fun and memorable
day. I hope to see you there.
Stop in at The Wade Creek House while you are
in the area... that is always a fun time.
So we can all be home with our families tomorrow, The Wade Creek House
will be closed Easter. Enjoy the day
with your families too!
Easter's the only time of year when it's
perfectly safe to put all your eggs in one basket... author unknown
