WADE CREEK HOUSE ANTIQUES opened in 2007. Located in an old 1940's home, we have expanded many times so there are many areas for you to browse. Located on an acre in Estacada, Oregon, your children can visit with our chickens (yes, we sell eggs) as you look around.

We are much more than an antiques store. We host community fundraisers, have two

OUR VENDORS LOVE TO SHOP FOR YOU. They specialize in old, rusty, antique,
primitive, vintage, recycled, revived, repurposed, salvaged, scavenged, chippy, farm, collectibles, indoor and outdoor décor. Come and see what they have found

Time for a little more about us... or one of us

Sonya joined us in August 2008 so her 6 year anniversary is coming up.  Everyone knows Sonya as she has been collecting for many years and you see her flying through sales on the weekends.   Sonya has a flare for display, design and color.  Our members look to her for help with reviving furniture and when they struggle with display in their booth.  It is like she goes in and waves her arms and voilà! ... it looks amazing.

Recently we surveyed the members to see what they liked to collect and after a little thought Sonya explains that her collection isn't much about collecting a particular item but rather collecting items with something in common.  “I guess what I collect is rust--lots of it”. She grew up on a farm in Montana. She says she likes to find very “cheap” rusty, crusty, chippy, peeley painted stuff and clean it, work it, and sometimes repurpose it. Her favorite style is the French Nordic country--lots of white with soft colors, inexpensive, and beautiful in its simplicity.

And here are some of the great things you will find in her space at Wade Creek House.

TODAY IS THE Estacada Summer Celebration

The ESTACADA SUMMER CELEBRATION is a free arts and music festival with lots of hands-on activities for kids from 11:30am - 3:30pm.  This is the 14th annual festival and a great way to spend the day, listening to music, sampling great food from our many wonderful downtown restaurants, and be surrounded by the artistic talents of the artists of Estacada.  Our new mural is being painted on the side of our Harvest Market.  AND of course while you are here, stop in at WADE CREEK HOUSE ANTIQUES.  Always lots of new great finds just waiting for you.

THE MASON JAR OPENING

Today is the beginning of the GRAND OPENING for THE MASON JAR, A Gathering Place in Estacada.  Amy and Mark are offering special breakfasts, lunches, & dinners and a brunch on Sundays.  I may not get all the details right so please stop in and give them a WELCOME.  We had a wonderful breakfast burrito this morning, Sandra had a triple berry scone, and we all had different coffees.  YUM!!  They have decorated with many pieces from The Wade Creek House which was fun for us to see.  The space they are in was a Safeway Store in the 1930's and they have some great old pictures of the place then.  This is how it looks now... I got a glare when I took a picture of the other scone and pastry cabinet... deliciousness everywhere.  Oh, and give their Facebook page a LIKE!

WE LOVE OUR ESTACADA GARDEN TOUR

What a spectacular week-end for the Estacada Garden Tour.  One of the gals that went on the tour is retired from Better Homes and Gardens and has photographed hundreds of gardens.  She doesn't like to miss our tour as she is always impressed with the quality of the gardens.  We heard this from everyone that came back our way.  THANK YOU PAM VINCENT who organized the tour and to all the garden owners for opening their gardens for our viewing.  All the proceeds raised by this tour will be donated to our Estacada Senior Community Center.  If you are interested in being a garden on our tour next year, give us a call.
