WADE CREEK HOUSE ANTIQUES opened in 2007. Located in an old 1940's home, we have expanded many times so there are many areas for you to browse. Located on an acre in Estacada, Oregon, your children can visit with our chickens (yes, we sell eggs) as you look around.

We are much more than an antiques store. We host community fundraisers, have two
OUTDOOR VINTAGE MARKETS every summer and hold classes and workshops throughout the year. You can find details BELOW.

OUR VENDORS LOVE TO SHOP FOR YOU. They specialize in old, rusty, antique,
primitive, vintage, recycled, revived, repurposed, salvaged, scavenged, chippy, farm, collectibles, indoor and outdoor décor. Come and see what they have found
for you!!

Today is the day!

Today is the day!  Wade Creek House Antiques will close at 5. It's hard to put into words the wonderful feelings, memories, experiences, and friendships that have come our way over the past 12 years. The shop has been a labor of love for Bill and I and we are so excited that Michele and Doug will be reopening next Saturday, January 4th has Wade Creek Vintage Marketplace. They bring new energy, new ideas, new vendors, and your favorite returning vendors. You will still have a place to attend fun classes, enjoy the Outdoor Vintage Markets, Estacada Farmer's Market and more.

I am turning over our Facebook and Instagram pages to Michelle today so you will see that pop up with their new logo. Hopefully I can navigate that process smoothly. I joined Instagram so I can continue to follow our followers. It is under BeckyMcFarland.TheRustySister. You will probably see what I did with some of the cool pieces I brought home and of course pictures of the chickens.

Thank you for all the love and support you have showing our small business over the past 12 years.  We love you all!  Becky

Bill and I are excited to announce our retirement as shopkeepers.  Having already retired from nursing and a hydrologist career and 12+ years as shopkeepers, we are ready for the next chapter of our lives.  We are excited to introduce you to the new owners, Michele and Doug Melbourne.  Many of you know of Michele, also known as Fiddlehead Forest.  She is one of the gals known for her beautifully painted hutches and other furniture.   She has been part of Wade Creek House Antiques for over 4 years and we are excited to watch the shop evolve and grow into something even more wonderful under her talented hands.   Wade Creek House Antiques will close 12/30/19 and Wade Creek Vintage Marketplace will open Saturday, 1/4/20.  It is all so exciting.  Please stop by and welcome Michele and Doug and their wonderful group of vendors, .

We opened in September of 2007, after purchasing the tiny house on an acre in 2006.  We cleared the land and remodeled the sweet little house.   We started out with my fellow nurses, a nurse assistant, a graphic artist, and one person with retail experience, thank goodness.  But we learned fast and with each new member came new ideas, new possibilities, and new experiences to share.

Our first project in 2008 was adding onto the house using old glass doors and windows, then built a covered area over a pad from leftover concrete, then came the chickens, the barn, silo, tractor, new chicken house and the old truck.  We had a 50 x 100 garden with a big cutting garden and a fall garden.  We had the Chicken Chat and Coop Tour (organized by Nikki Mantei) for several years as a fundraiser for a local 4H group.  We had a big garden event with Master Gardener speakers all day and local nurseries selling plants and hanging baskets.  Many Outdoor Vintage Markets, the Estacada Garden Tour, Pictures with Santa, hundreds of classes over the years and so much more.  We started fundraising for the community early with our first one in 2008 where we did a huge garage sale and gave the city a check for $1500 for the future Wade Creek Park.  Over the years, we have donated well over $30,000 to the community, something we are very proud of.

We have enjoyed every minute of our Wade Creek House experience and this was a tough decision to make.   We will be the landlords now so we will still be there doing some chores and of course it will still be my favorite place to shop.  Thank you for all the support and to everyone who was a vendor, a customer, a visitor who we now consider to be friends.  You are all part of our Wade Creek House story... we have truly been blessed.  Now... there are so many doors to open...

3 more days..

Only 3 more shopping days until Christmas.. Open 11-5 today and 10-5 thru Christmas Eve... 🌲
