We are 8 years old!  To celebrate and to thank our wonderful customers, we are having an

 

ANNIVERSARY SALE this Saturday, September 26th. 

 

20% off store wide on most items. 

 

AND Saturday is also the last day of the market season for our

 

ESTACADA FARMER'S MARKET. 

 

PLEASE come out and thank them for an amazing season and let them thank you for your loyalty and support this past season.  They are providing the pizza and prizes. 

Hours are 10a -  2p.

THE DAY AFTER THE MARKET....

The morning after finds me feeling so blessed to be surrounded by such an amazing group of women that call Wade Creek House Antiques their home away from home.  These gals were the village it takes to run a market.  I can't thank them enough and truly cherish their friendship.

And had such a great group of vendors... we made a lot of new friends this season and always enjoy our returning regulars. Hope to see them again next year.

The market... it is such a blur.  Not sure if it is because I was attacked by a cold virus or from all the great events of the day.  From the smiling faces of the customers carrying out their treasures to the beautiful weather  to the happy vendors who loved selling people their wares.  I got so wrapped up in it I forgot to take many pictures.

What a great day....

NOT VINTAGE BUT SPECIAL....

 We have a new local 4H horse club called Whispering Spirit Riders.. This young group of kids, ages 11 - 15, is just getting started and they are trying to raise funds for their activities. They have been very busy. They will be at our OUTDOOR VINTAGE MARKET on Saturday so please stop by and check out the items they have made... very cool horse shoe jewelry hangers, leather crosses blinged out with jewels, feed sack totes, horse shoe wine racks, feed sacks turned into a pet supply holders. They will have a variety of each so stop by and help this young 4H group get started. AND if you have any feed bags laying around... they could put them to good use. Just drop them off at their booth.

SO AMAZING...

Have you ever seen anything like this?  VASELINE GLASS... it glows this beautiful bright green color under an ultra violet light, thanks to the uranium oxide they added to the glass in its molten state.  This is in Gloria's space under black light.. others have some too.

Sometimes we need a little magic....

A bit of magic occurred last night at Wade Creek House Antiques.  We had a visitor from Fiddlehead Forest...

 

And this morning when I arrived, I can only describe what I saw as magical.  Here are some pictures... how would you describe it?  Michele is a new vendor and you need to come by and be part of the magic....

SAVE THE DATE!!!     OUR last OUTDOOR VINTAGE MARKET of the year is SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19th..   Market opens at 8a until 5p with FREE ADMISSION.  Wade Creek House Antiques is located on an acre which gives us  a great space for this kind of venue.  We have food vendors, live music, the Estacada Farmer's Market will be there as well as some outstanding vintage vendors.  So join us .... make your calendars!

 

And there is still some vendor space available... you can check the right column of this blog for vendor information and registration forms or call for details.  We have Friday set-up available which makes it easy.
