The shop is closed and due to the weather will be closed Friday. I will keep you posted about Saturday. Get home & stay safe.
Our hearts go out to the family of the Clackamas County weighmaster who was killed this am nearby. We saw firsthand the intensity of the manhunt taking place around us today. We wish them a safe and quick resolution to their search.
WADE CREEK HOUSE ANTIQUES opened in 2007. Located in an old 1940's home, we have expanded many times so there are many areas for you to browse. Located on an acre in Estacada, Oregon, your children can visit with our chickens (yes, we sell eggs) as you look around.
We are much more than an antiques store. We host community fundraisers, have two OUTDOOR VINTAGE MARKETS every summer and hold classes and workshops throughout the year. You can find details BELOW.
OUR VENDORS LOVE TO SHOP FOR YOU. They specialize in old, rusty, antique, primitive, vintage, recycled, revived, repurposed, salvaged, scavenged, chippy, farm, collectibles, indoor and outdoor décor. Come and see what they have found for you!!

Jim and Tracy's Adventure
The Gilbert House
Many of you know Jim
and Tracy from The Wade Creek House... Jim with his passion for militaria and Tracy for her passion with everything else. This love of the old,
vintage, unique have lead them on another adventure. They recently had the opportunity to take
over an antique shop in Redmond, Oregon and make it their own. Another old house, The Gilbert House built in
1929, will have its Grand Opening this weekend.
Located at 203 SW 6th Street, the shop will be open Friday from 11a - 5p
with the Grand Opening Saturday from 11a -
5p. They would love to see
you. Thankfully, they will still have a
booth at The Wade Creek House....for now.

FEBRUARY..
OUR FEATHERED FRIEND..
Meet our heron. You can see him often driving along Wade Street and Eagle Creek Road. He likes the fields just down the road from the shop and he loves Wade Creek. He was up on the bank when I ran for my camera but hopped down into the creek when I came back. I had been wondering what would be my new header, hoping it would be snow, and then there he was.
February is the month of Groundhog's Day, Valentine's Day, and Toothache Day. We have some special days lined up too..
1st - Sweetheart Tree and Heart
Ornament Workshop
8th - Wood Barn Quilt Workshop
12th - Gathering UFO's (unfinished
objects class)
22nd - Beginning Backyard Beekeeping
in the Pacific NW
Also, to get you thinking... April is our Chicken Chat & Coop Tour. Please let us know if you have a coop to show! This is a fun event and a great time to learn from others. It is also a 4H Fundraiser!

Time for Valentine Decor
February 14th is just
around the corner... time for a little Valentine decor. This Saturday, February 1st, let Linda help
you create an adorable 2 - 3 foot tree in a "covered" pot using
colors of the season. Using copper wire
to enhance the branches, your tree will be ready to attach colorful decorations
for Valentine's Day. Bring small
pictures of family, friends, pets, anything you may want to put in a heart
ornament and you will make some here for your tree. Then after Valentine's Day, you can decorate
your tree for the next holiday. This
tree can be used year around. Linda will
give you a number of decoration and idea pages explaining how to change your
tree to fit each season. Please bring
pliers, wire cutters & scissors if you have them and don't forget the tiny
photos.. $ 30 11a - 1p – limited
class size so call today and reserve your spot.
All you need is love. But a
little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.
