Soooo... what is Girls Night Out?

It is more than an night out as we start at 3:30 in the afternoon. We have DISCOUNT SHOPPING, DOOR PRIZES, TREATS, AND FUN. Our project is a COUNTRY PORCH WELCOME which you can start any month .. You start with a WELCOME to stencil $15. Then each month add another piece or two.. For September choose a leaf or ladybug ($15 or both for $25). Everything included. Registration required. Need a place to hang your cute signs? There are pre-made posts with 3 color options ($30) OR a wall hanger ($18) to choose from. Reservations are required by Tuesday, August 30th at 6pm. Our Fall/Winter Garden Workshop is coming up this next Sunday. Kathleen Leone, President of the Estacada Farmer's Market and owner of Fir & Foxglove Farm will be walking you through the process of having a wonderful Fall garden..

August 28th ~ 1 to 3 pm

Because YES, you can still grow & harvest during the fall & winter months! Come to our workshop on Aug. 28th to find out how. Kitty will go over different methods of growing and will identify which crops enjoy a shorter season and the coming cool temperatures.

Kitty will have cool weather loving PLANT STARTS FOR SALE from Estacada Farmers Market Vendors, Wrights Nursery & Midland Green, so you can go home and get your own fall/winter garden growing immediately. There will be a fun & easy COLD FRAME DEMO with some window frames borrowed from Wade Creek House Antiques. And you too can purchase windows to take home for your own insta-cold frame.

You'll go home with plant lists and fact sheets to help get you started on your fall/winter garden. This will be a fun class and we look forward to seeing you all there! Call to reserve your space....$25 ~ registration required.

What a day we had! It was hot but our vendors were amazing and the customers kept coming despite the temperature. Thank you Wade Creek House helpers, Farmer's Market, thank you Barb, Rick, and Mike whose music always makes everything better. Thank you Fundraiser Cafe. I have already had texts from people looking forward to our next market September 17th. Me.. I couldn't think past a cool shower and a good night's sleep.

WAYNE AND LOLA...

Anyone who has been to one of our Outdoor Vintage Markets has met Wayne and Lola. They hang out under the old apple tree in the back southeast corner of our acre. They bring lots of old farm, primitives, garden, the stuff people like. They sent me a picture of their loaded trailer. This is what they have so far... drool...

ONLY FIVE MORE DAYS until our OUTDOOR VINTAGE MARKET!!! We took a little "vintage " down there today. A 1952 John Deere AR.. I'm sure this is on someones "must have" list. After all, 1952 was a very good year.....

Loading up some awesome finds for the Outdoor Vintage Market NEXT SATURDAY.. I can hardly wait.... August 20th... 8a - 5p. With amazing vintage vendors AND our Estacada Farmer's Market, there is free parking, free admission, live music, food, kettle corn, and the weather will be beautiful... can't get any better than that.
