WADE CREEK HOUSE ANTIQUES opened in 2007. Located in an old 1940's home, we have expanded many times so there are many areas for you to browse. Located on an acre in Estacada, Oregon, your children can visit with our chickens (yes, we sell eggs) as you look around.

We are much more than an antiques store. We host community fundraisers, have two
OUTDOOR VINTAGE MARKETS every summer and hold classes and workshops throughout the year. You can find details BELOW.

OUR VENDORS LOVE TO SHOP FOR YOU. They specialize in old, rusty, antique,
primitive, vintage, recycled, revived, repurposed, salvaged, scavenged, chippy, farm, collectibles, indoor and outdoor décor. Come and see what they have found

MORE CHAIRS FOR CHARITY...

I am very excited about all the chairs coming to the shop for CHAIRS FOR CHARITY to benefit the LAM FOUNDATION.

Did you know that this disease,  lymphangioleiomyomatosis, only affects women in their child bearing years.  No know cause and no know cure....  you can read more about this disease by clicking on the link in the right column of this blog.  All of us at Wade Creek House are proud to be part of this fundraising effort.

My pictures do these cool chairs justice.  You will just have to come in and check them out yourself!!  AND pre-bidding is open!

This is very fun and practical... two chairs turned into a bench with a nice shelf below.  Be great in an entry, a mud room, in a bedroom...  Very creative.

These two fun chairs are hand painted with great detail on the front and back.  They would be fun in a kitchen or entry being bright and cheery.

This chair has great texture, color, and a silver shimmery feather on the seat.  Very cool!

We have a chair for everyone. ... this one would be great in the bedroom of your farmhouse or those who love the western theme like I do....

MORE CHAIRS FOR CHARITY...

THIS ONE "GRIMM"

We all love the television series GRIMM, a fantasy police drama based in Portland.  It was the inspiration for this amazing chair.  The chair,  created by Carrie, will be part of the CHAIRS FOR CHARITY auction on June 6th.  Not only is the chair AMAZING all by itself but two stars of the show, Sasha Roiz who plays the police captain Sean Renard and Silas Weir Mitchell who plays Monroe are signing the chair.  AWESOME!!   Now.... how can you win this chair? or others?

All the chairs in the CHAIRS FOR CHARITY auction will be auctioned June 6th in a silent auction.  You do not have to be present to win.  You can stop by Wade Creek House Antiques anytime June 6th or EVEN TODAY, to place a bid.  Winners are announced at 5:30pm on the 6th.    So you see, there is no reason to miss out....  Stop by and check out all the chairs up for auction... you might want more than one!

AND REMEMBER... ALL money raised will be donated to the LAM Foundation for research and patient support.

Will post more chairs soon.....

AND DON'T FORGET...
ESTACADA FARMER'S MARKET at WADE CREEK HOUSE ANTIQUES
every Saturday thru September    10a - 2p

 Have an amazing weekend...

CHAIRS FOR CHARITY...

It is that time of year again where Wade Creek House Antiques hosts CHAIRS FOR CHARITY.  This event is in support of our dear friend and Wade Creek House member Carrie.  Carrie is one of those that has not been blessed with the gift of good health.  Carrie has a rare incurable lung disease called lymphangioleiomyomatosis or LAM for short.  This disease only strikes women in child bearing years and being a rare condition, monies for research are small.  Each year, across the nation, members of the LAM community including patients and the friends and families host fundraisers to help raise money for research and patient support.  This is our THIRD ANNUAL CHAIRS FOR CHARITY FUNDRAISER.  You will find chairs created by local artists and supporters that have donated them to be auctioned off (via silent auction) with 100% of the proceeds being sent to the LAM Foundation.

Many of the chairs are now on display at Wade Creek House Antiques and US Bank with the silent auction on June 6th.  If you are unable to attend June 6th, but see a chair that you would love to have,  we have made it possible for you to submit a pre-bid.

And if you are followers of the TV show GRIMM, stay tuned.  We are getting a GRIMM inspired chair autographed by two of its stars.  More on this to come.  Below are a few chairs already at Wade Creek House Antiques and awaiting their first bids.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

You might recognize Buttercup from the shop.   I recently bought 7 new baby chicks and decided that  Buttercup deserved some babies of her own after sitting on unfertilized eggs for 3 weeks.  The other chickens that lived at Wade Creek House are now at my home roaming 7 acres with new friends.  Life is good.

SUCH WONDERFUL FOLKS.....

Estacada Farmer's Market started their 2015 market season today at Wade Creek House Antiques.  What a fun day!  We had fresh, locally grown produce, garden starts, plants, cut flowers, coffee, and artists. It is hard to list everything so you will just have to come out next Saturday to see for yourself.  You won't be disappointed!  Also Sly David was great for keeping us musically entertained.
Here are a few pictures, sorry that I won't have a picture of everyone but I will be posting more each week.
