WADE CREEK HOUSE ANTIQUES opened in 2007. Located in an old 1940's home, we have expanded many times so there are many areas for you to browse. Located on an acre in Estacada, Oregon, your children can visit with our chickens (yes, we sell eggs) as you look around.

We are much more than an antiques store. We host community fundraisers, have two
OUTDOOR VINTAGE MARKETS every summer and hold classes and workshops throughout the year. You can find details BELOW.

OUR VENDORS LOVE TO SHOP FOR YOU. They specialize in old, rusty, antique,
primitive, vintage, recycled, revived, repurposed, salvaged, scavenged, chippy, farm, collectibles, indoor and outdoor décor. Come and see what they have found

The ironing board is changing.... away from ironing.

This time of year I especially need that extra little bit of space.  I have used my vintage wooden ironing board in a variety of ways.... an extra surface when serving guests, a cute place to put our Christmas cards, to display merchandise at the shop when a dresser left.  They are so handy behind the couch, next to the BBQ, a fun table for the grandkids as mine locks half way up.  What different way can you think of to use an ironing board.  We have several at the shop if you want  to add that quaint country feel to your room.  Below are several ideas thanks to pinterest..

MAKING ORNAMENTS....

Every year I try to make a new ornament.  This year I am letting Nikki inspire me.  She takes natural elements like seed pods, empty eggs, and more to make the most beautiful ornaments.  So sign up to make your own heirloom ornaments.  Check out below the egg ornament that Bill and I were given in 1978... those egg shells are tougher than they look.  Nikki's workshop is this Saturday, December 14th at 10:30.  Create a trio or ornaments to share or keep for yourself.  Cost is $25.

COMING HOME

Coming home... It is always a wonderful time when one of the "children" come home and visit The Wade Creek House.  This weekend Pam, her husband and their daughter Brandi came to see Santa, visit Pam's childhood home, and reminisce.  Six children grew up in that little house next to Wade Creek and it is always fun to hear the stories.  Please come often, we love it

SANTA 2013

I can't think of anything more incredible than to listen to the conversation between Santa and a child.  Thank you Santa for making time to come to THE WADE CREEK HOUSE today.  You made it such a memorable day, warming our hearts even in this cold weather.  You are a gift and we so appreciate your generosity, your holiday spirit, and the joy that you spread.  We look forward to seeing you again next year!
